During the pandemic millions of women in the US were pushed out of jobs and pushed to the edge of poverty and food insecurity, at a much higher rate than men. As the primary childcare provider in most families, mothers were put in an especially difficult position of choosing between work and family.

Being given a limited but varied range of type families to choose from for our project, I chose ITC Officina Sans for the headings, both because of its narrow width, tall x-height, and as a reference to the workplace issues at hand in the campaign.  For the small body text I used Korolev Rounded. I made my word into a piece of jewelry and friends were kind enough to model my 3-dimensional word for the poster image.
